The precision ground flutes, nitro-carburize finished, and extra wide web design facilitate fast chip removal, thus preventing bits from heating up, becoming brittle, and breaking like other bits. The Dude’s drill bits cut stainless steel, spring steel, even grade 8 bolts, like a hot knife through cold butter! And unlike conventional round shanks, all of the Dude’s fractional drill bits come with 3 ground flats on sizes 3/16” and up, preventing chuck slippage.
