Viking Spear Head

Not what it used to be I own the older silver inlaid version of this head, I pre ordered it directly from Hanwei when the released this series some 12-14 years ago. Recently I handled this newer version and I must say that the quality is NOWHERE the same! My older verizon is a solid socked design, thus newer version has two seams running the length of the socket. One seam would be acceptable (and was done in period), two opposing seams is a king for trouble though. More dissapointing is the price, the silver inlaid set o purchased (it was a head and butt cap package at that time) was in line with the current pricing on these less well built heads. All in all, I’d suggest steering away.
