This Medieval Longbow hearkens to the rustic and practical bows for hunting and war used for centuries in medieval Europe. It is crafted from a solid stave of hickory and given a deep, dark brown stain and treated with a sealant for protection. A grip of genuine leather cord is tightly bound about the handle and a leather tab protects the bow from contact with the arrow when loosed. This bow is intended for a right-handed person if you wish to utilize the protective tab. We stock the bow in several draw weights; other draw weights can be ordered on request. Included with the bow is a bowstring and a Certificate of Authenticity complete with bow care instructions.
