An outstanding original Lea Stein Art Deco Lady Head brooch, featuring the distinctive collarette and sleek black skull cap that define this classic, internationally recognised design. Created in layered cellulose acetate, the brooch combines black, white and beige tones with luminous pearlised finishes and high gloss surfaces. Comprising six layers in total, including a radiant pearl triangle, each pearlised layer reveals its own unique internal pattern. Four of these layers are skilfully used to form the head, cap, ear and bold disc earring, finished with the signature imprinted star as the eye. To the reverse is the original V-shaped safety clasp, clearly impressed LEA STEIN PARIS, in perfect working order. The brooch also retains its original gold foil MADE IN FRANCE label.
