Crafted with care and high standards entirely in the USA by Baltimore Knife & Sword, this Viking axe has a large blade of medium carbon alloy steel which is well tempered to a 48-50 HRc hardness. The axehead is stoutly fitted onto a hardwood haft and with a steel axe wedge for a tight fit within the socket and further reinforced by two pins. The axe is completed with some carefully applied decorative burn markings.
