A Vintage Spectacular Moulded Glass Peacock Perfume Bottle

A vintage Murano glass perfume bottle, richly applied with a dramatic peacock motif, dating to circa 1980. The bottle is formed in matte blue Murano glass of elegant tapering shape, mounted on a decorative gilt base. One side is adorned with a finely modelled applied peacock in vivid enamelled colours of magenta, turquoise, green, and gold, highlighted with sparkling crystal accents to the tail feathers. The sculptural application is detailed and expressive, wrapping organically around the bottle and creating strong visual depth. The bottle is fitted with its original clear faceted glass stopper with gilt mount, completing the design beautifully. A striking example of later Murano decorative glass, combining bold colour, texture, and theatrical presentation. Presented in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or losses, and all elements intact. Dimensions approximately: 14 cm high x 4 cm diameter. Murano, Italy. Circa 1980.
