Slim and light, this replica of an early Medieval period mace is based on originals from Eastern Europe in Scandinavia and Russia and would have been wielded by Viking and Rus warriors alike. The mace is swift on the strike and its relatively small size makes it an unobtrusive sidearm for all-day wear, ready to be drawn for defense. The head is made of cast brass and it is mounted to a turned hardwood haft.
