This burly mace is created specifically for rigorous HMB / Buhurt full contact medieval sport combat. The head with thickened flanges is G65 steel and it is securely mounted onto a thickened hardwood haft. A wooden wedge driven into the haft atop the mace socket further expanded the wood within the mace socket to yet further tighten and secure it. Bands of grip tape on the handle complete this mace for use. Please Note: The decoration type and placement on the haft may vary. The haft may have some variation in shape, but will be strong and sturdy.
