Medieval Bar Mace

Not bad for the price All in all, it’s a pretty sweet mace. It’s heavy enough that holding it to admire and give a few test swings will give you a workout. You could probably smash cinderblocks with this thing. The handle is wrapped well and I like the leather thong (though I wouldn’t imagine relying on it, given the weight of the mace). It also came oiled, which is nice. I would’ve given 5 stars, but it came with a small chunk missing from the edge of one of the blades (is that the right term?) with black in it, which looks like a manufacturing defect plus corrosion. There’s also a bit more black corrosion a couple inches away from that spot. It’s not so bad I’d immediately return it, but well, these things are made on the cheap in India and sold fairly cheap. This isn’t the first item I’ve order from KoA, and it’s not likely to be the last. I’d still very much recommend this mace, just with the caveat that this is a cheap bruiser of a mace. The minor defect strikes me as less of a concern that having a hollow stainless steel shaft like on the even cheaper maces.
