A Vintage Pair of Very Desirable Clip Earrings by Askew of London

An outstanding pair of earrings by Askew of London, fitted with clip fittings to the rear, suitable for all ears. The design takes the form of a four-leaf clover in Askew’s signature rich 18ct goldplate finish. Each leaf is set with a large, finely cut sapphire-blue rhinestone, framed by a raised border formed from three rows of twisted rope detailing. At the centre sits a green glass cube, flanked on either side by a small pink faux pearl, adding contrast and depth to the design. The original soft silicone comfort pads are pristine, indicating the earrings appear never to have been worn. To the rear, the full Askew of London name is clearly hallmarked around the inner edge of a round lozenge. Renowned for limited-production, high-quality jewellery, Askew of London is celebrated for its intricate design work, substantial goldplate finish, and meticulous attention to detail, including finely finished reverse sides.
