Description Bekuhai set is for a Bekuhai game, which is played at Japanese drinking parties in Kochi prefecture. Bekuhai are those, which you cannot put down without finishing sake inside. There are “Okame” (Female funny face), Hyottoko (Male funny face), and Tengu (Japanese Goblin). Okame contains the least amount of sake inside and you can put it down without finishing sake inside, Hyottoko has a hole at its mouth, which you have to keep your finger to stop sake leaking, meaning that you cannot put it down without finishing sake inside. Tengu has a long nose, therefore contains the biggest amount of sake inside and cannot put down without finishing sake inside. There is a top to spin, which has three faces with a arrow to appoint a person who has to drink next. Your party guests and you, will take turn to spin a top to continue drinking with fun. It was a very popular activity in the past, but faded over time. It has been revived in Kochi prefecture back in 1970’s and became a very popular drinking game to play in Kochi prefecture soon after.
