Tsugarubiidoro is a traditional craft of Aomori Prefecture, based on the concept of “handmade glass that lets you feel the four seasons.  Hokuyo Glass, which produces Tsugaru Biidoro, started out in 1949 by manufacturing floating balls for the fishing industry. In 1977, the company applied the “air-blowing” technique that it had developed through the production of floating balls to create Tsugaru Biidoro.
