Mid Century Sputnik Weather Station in Chrome and Bakelite

Vintage Sputnik Weather Station, excellent condition, generally in bright chrome and satin with Black Bakelite disc trim to base. Multiple features including Hygrometer (Relative humidity %), Temperature (Centigrade); and Barometer (Air pressure for Weather indication). All features appear to be working correctly, and the presentation and condition is immaculate with original dark green felted base. Post 1957, as that is the date that Sputnik was first launched by USSR, but a simpler design than many others indicating an earlier manufacture. Also, Marked WEST GERMANY, indicates pre 1989.
