Very Rare, French Lapel Vase in Solid European Silver with Rose and Rope Design. These are watertight, so the cavity can hold damp tissue to keep the flower fresh. The 925 confirms the Silver quality is equivalent to the British Sterling Silver Standards. Very old Patina to the Silver with no damage. It has been left as found to retain the finish only achieved with age. It has the traditional French Roll-over Clasp to the rear and is in perfect working condition. Dimensions approx.: 5cm high, tube dia. 0.7cm., flared top 1.5cm across, silver rose 0.9cm dia.; silver rope 0.1cm dia.. France. Circa 1930.
