Red Dragon – Knee Guards

The Red Dragon Knee Guards bring excellent knee protection to your HEMA training with an encompassing frontal plate of rigid plate of impact plastic which is backed in thick foam. Integrated into the sides of the knee guard are a generously thick layer of plastic plate. For HEMA, this product has been classified as either appropriate for all skill levels or appropriate for those with Advanced Skills. Michael Turner, instructor at Tuathair Academy of Swordsmanship, assisted us in categorizing these items for the different skill levels of HEMA participants. These categorizations are meant as guidelines. Please refer to tournament rules for specific competition requirements. For this purpose, we do not include swords that may be used in cutting competitions in the HEMA category. The knee guards are easily donned with an elasticated velcro strap and can be further secured into position by using the integrated lacing to tie them onto your fencing breeches. One Size Fits Most.
