Visby Pauldrons – Mountable Upgrade for Chainmail and Padded Armor – Lord of Battles

This matched pair of Visby pauldrons are an easy way to significantly upgrade the armored protection of your chainmail, arming doublet or gambeson. Once laced and tied into position onto an anchoring point they provide a critical point of plated defense over the shoulders. The elongated teardrop design aptly covers the shoulders and its lengthened design gives some protection to the upper arms by ensuring that a bit of steel is present to prevent a cut. These pauldrons are crafted from 16 gauge steel and their pre-drilled holes allow for the included thick leather laces to be used to tie and secure them into position. Please note that in our demonstration photos we swapped out the included leather laces for cord aiglets (Cord aiglets are not included but they are available separately).
