Shoulder Rondells – Mountable Upgrade for Chainmail and Padded Armor – 16 Gauge Steel – Lord of Battles

This matched pair of Rondell pauldrons are a simple way to dramatically upgrade the armored protection to your chainmail, arming doublet or gambeson; simply laced and secured into position, the 16 gauge steel rondells ably serve to deflect and dissipate the force of landed blows to the shoulders from a variety of angles. The Rondells are edged in thick 6-7 oz leather which has been stoutly riveted onto the the rounded Rondell plate to provide chafe protection to armor worn beneath them. Included are thick leather cords which can be laced into eyelet holes on padded armor, or through chainmail links to anchor them into position.
