This pair of sabatons are both well-articulated and sturdily built and are designed for HMB (Historical Medieval Battles) combat and heavy medieval sport fighting. They are constructed from 19 gauge tempered spring steel for a robust construction that is suitable for hard-hitting combative sport fighting. They have a thick leather strap and a steel buckle to fasten them at the heel and the pre-drilled holes in the sabatons serve as anchoring points to allow for them to be laced to your boots or Buhurt shoes that you wear beneath the sabatons to keep them in position and to allow for their movement to synchronize with the foot. The last two photos demonstrate their use with boots. Please be aware that boots are not included.
