Age of Craft – HMB Arm Armor – Plate Elbow Couters – 18-19 Gauge Tempered Spring Steel

This pair of elbow couters are crafted from 18 – 19 gauge tempered spring steel and built for hard-hitting HMB medieval sport combat. The steel is strong and resilient without imparting excess weight on the bearer and they are worn and adjusted to fit by strapping them to the arm with a leather strap and steel buckle. Sturdily riveted to the steel are two tabs of thick leather which give chafe protection from the edges of the armor. If desired it would be simple to drill holes into these leather pieces to allow for them to be laced onto an arming garment or joined to other armor pieces for additional security to ensure they do not shift while in use.
