I was uncertain if I used this product correctly as I was attempting to root cuttings with it. Despite pre-rinsing, my coleus cuttings ended up with mold and minimal root growth. However, the sweet potato vine cuttings I also used at the same time and in the same way rooted very well without any mold issues. All plant material had been cleaned with soapy water before use.
