Light Gambeson with Removable Laced Arms – Black – Deepeeka

This modifiable Gambeson has laced-on full length sleeves; un-lacing them gives you the option of changing the gambeson into a padded vest. The shell is constructed from durable canvas and its interior is padded with poly-fill. Leather cord lacing at the collar secures it into place after donning. This Gambeson is not as stiff as other, more thickly padded gambesons and has an overall flexibility comparable to a thick winter coat. This type of historically accurate gambeson has sealed sides and is more difficult to don than a jacket as it needs to go directly over the head to don it and remove it – If in any doubt about your size we recommend ordering the next larger size.
