This modifiable Gambeson has laced-on full length sleeves; un-lacing them gives you the option of changing the gambeson into a padded vest. The shell is constructed from durable canvas and its interior is well-padded with poly-fill. Leather cord lacing at the collar secures it into place after donning. This type of historically accurate gambeson has sealed sides and is more difficult to don than a jacket as it needs to go directly over the head to don it and remove it – If in any doubt about your size we recommend ordering the next larger size.
