Vintage 9ct Gold Diamond Three Stone Ring Sheffield Hallmarked

A very attractive vintage 9ct solid yellow gold ring of refined proportions, set with three round cut diamonds arranged in a classic trilogy design. The central diamond is slightly larger and is flanked by a smaller diamond on each side, all mounted in white gold illusion settings that enhance the brilliance and presence of the stones. Each diamond is securely held with six fine claws which rise from the yellow gold gallery beneath, forming an elegant crown mount that continues into delicately shaped shoulders. The design gives the ring a graceful profile and an excellent balance of sparkle and structure. The ring presents beautifully with a soft aged satin patina to the gold surfaces and remains in excellent condition. Clear hallmarks are present to the inner band including T.A.D., the maker submitting the ring for assay, the scales mark representing the United Kingdom, 375 confirming 9ct gold, and the rose mark for the Sheffield Assay Office. An additional hallmark DIA 15 confirms the presence of diamonds with a total carat weight of 0.15ct.
