A Spanish Toledo double edged Sword with real leather Scabbard as a Letter Opener. This piece is based on the Tizona style, that had protection for the fingers, but also the shape above the handle could entrap the opponent’s blade. Complete with the Scabbard, makes this model quite Rare and highly sought after. A World-renowned Sword Manufacturer with Centuries of History and Damascene blades. This piece also has a formed and riveted, pearlized Lucite handle as the final touch. Incredible intricate and finely detailed, with coloured enamels in the fine engraving. Toledo Hallmark immediately above the hilt at start of Blade. Excellent condition with soft aged Patina to Gilt Hilt and Handle, and the chrome blade is particularly fresh with only a couple of patina marks. TOLEDO within black enamel at bottom of blade near Hilt. The engraving continues at lower blade, in red and black enamels, matching the metal top and point of the scabbard.
